Application examples of brushless motor in computer information industry

The traditional carbon brush motor can not be accurately controlled except that it rotates according to the current. The brushless motor uses circuit drive, which can achieve accurate control, and is widely used in the computing and information industry.

Nowadays, with the rapid development of information technology, all kinds of computer peripherals and office automation equipment are also highly developed. The demand for micro motors, which are the key components of micro motors, is large, and the requirements for accuracy and efficiency are becoming higher and higher. The requirements for this kind of micro motor are miniaturization, thinness, high speed, long life, high reliability, low noise and low vibration, and the accuracy requirements are particularly high. For example, the spindle drive motor for hard disk drive is a permanent magnet brushless DC motor, which drives the disc to rotate at a high speed of nearly 10000rpm. The magnetic head performing the data reading and writing function on the disc makes a suspension motion only 0.1 ~ 0.3 microns away from the surface of the disc, and its high accuracy requirements can be imagined. In information technology, permanent magnet brushless DC motors are mostly used in various devices such as printers, hard and soft disk drives, optical disk drives, fax machines, photocopiers, etc. Limited by the level of science and technology, this kind of micro motor cannot be manufactured by itself in China at present, and some products are assembled in China.

However, computers for the information industry in such a broad market cannot be produced in China. The development of brushless motor in China has a long way to go.
