From the controllability of the motor, it can be divided into ordinary brushless motor, stepping motor and servo motor. Servo motor is the most accurate in controllability, followed by stepper motor. The control error of ordinary brushless motor is large. If it is used as robot or precision mechanical movement, it is recommended to use servo motor, but the unit price of servo motor is high, and the cost of PLC as the controller of servo motor is also very high. The cost of an automation equipment is often more than 100000, and its cost is mainly PLC controller and servo motor, which are basically imported. Mitsubishi and Siemens occupy the vast majority of the market.

Brushless motor has different operation pipelines, which can be divided into inner rotor brushless motor and outer rotor brushless motor. The inner rotor is three-phase, which is relatively expensive. The outer rotor is usually single-phase, which is very affordable. Mass production has been close to carbon brush motors, so it has been widely used in recent years. Of course, the three-phase price of the outer rotor is also very expensive, which is close to the price of the inner rotor.
